Emmanuel Adebayo explains family complicated issues…..read!

Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor, born 26 February 1984), known as Emmanuel Adebayor, is a Togolese footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Tottenham

imageHotspur and the Togo national team. Just recently the star took to his Facebook page to explain certain family issues involving his mother, sister and brothers which has lingered on for some time now. He wrote…..

SEA, I have kept these stories for a long time but I think today it is worth sharing some of them with you. It’s true that family matters should be solved internally and not in public but I am doing this so that hopefully all families can learn from what happened in mine. Also keep in mind that none of this is about money.
At the age of 17, with my first wages as a footballer, I built a house for my family and made sure they are safe. As you all know, I have received the trophy of African Player of the Year in 2008. I also brought my mother on stage with me to thank her for everything. In that same year, I brought her to London for various medical check ups. When my daughter was born, we contacted my mum to inform her but she immediately hung up the phone and didn’t wanna know hear about it. Reading your recent comments, some people said my family and I should consult T.B Joshua. In 2013, I gave my mother money so she could consult him in Nigeria. She was supposed to stay for 1 week; but 2 days into her stay, I received a call saying she left. Apart from all that l also gave my mother a great amount of money to start a business of cookies and different items. Naturally, I allowed them to put my name and picture on them so they can sell more. What else can a son do in his power to support his family?
A couple years ago, I bought a house in East Lagon (Ghana) for $1.2 million. I found it normal to let my older sister, Yabo Adebayor stay in that house. I also allowed my half brother (Daniel) to stay in the same house. A few months later, I was on vacation and decided to go to that house. At my surprise, I saw many cars in the driveway. In fact, my sister decided to rent out the house without me knowing. She also kicked Daniel out of that house. Note that the house had about 15 rooms. When I called her and asked for explanation, she took about 30 minutes to abuse and insult me over the phone. I called my mother to explain the situation and she did the same as my sister. This same sister says I am ungrateful. Ask her about the car she is driving or anything she is selling today?
My brother Kola Adebayor, has now been in Germany for 25 years. He travelled back home about 4 times, at my expense. I fully cover the cost of his children’s education. When I was in Monaco, he came to me and asked for money to start a business. Only God knows how much I gave him. Where is that business today?
When our brother Peter passed away, I sent Kola a great amount of money so he could fly back home. He never showed up at the burial. And today that same brother (Kola) is telling people that I am involved in Peter’s death. How? He is the same brother who went and told inaccurate stories about our family to “The Sun” in other to take some money. They also sent a letter to my Club when I was in Madrid so I could get fired.
When I was in Monaco I thought it would be good to have a family of footballers. So I made sure my brother Rotimi gets into a football academy in France. Within a few months; out of 27 players, he stole 21 phones.
I would not say any anything about my brother Peter Adebayor because he is not here today. May his soul rest in peace.
My sister Lucia Adebayor keeps telling people that my dad told me to bring her to Europe. But what would be the purpose to bring her to Europe ? Everyone is here for a reason.
I was in Ghana when I received the news about my brother Peter being seriously ill. I drove the fastest I could to Togo in order to meet him and help. When I arrived, my mother said I could not see him and I should just give the money and she would solve everything. Only God knows how much I gave her that day. People are saying I didn’t do anything to save my brother, Peter. Am I a fool to drive 2 hours to Togo for nothing?
I organized a meeting in 2005 to solve our family issues. When I asked them about their opinion, they said I should build each family member a house and give each of them a monthly wage.
Today I am still alive and they have already shared all my goods, just in case I die.
For all these reasons, it took very long for me to set up my foundation in Africa. Every time I try to help the people in need, they had to question me and all of them thought it was a bad idea.
If I am writing this, the main purpose is not to expose my family members. I just want other African families to learn from this. Thank you.”

Adebayor’s complicated family life led to Spurs giving him time off. After returning to London he almost left the club on transfer deadline day in January to join West Ham.
His open message on social media appears to be an attempt to answer some of the questions about why he was allowed to return home to Togo.

ARE NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS ONLY RULES FOR THE FIRST WEEK IN JANUARY?

So I was in the company of some friends on the 31st of December, 2013 and somehow someone brought up the topic “New Year Resolutions”. A girl of 4years with her elder sister beside us, suddenly asked out of curiosity ” uncle what is new year resolution”? Amazed and stunned on her so direct question, Gabriel the guy next to me took up the challenge to answer. He replied the little girl, “New Year Resolution are rules for the first week of January”. We all roared up in Laughter, and not knowing why we were laughing the little girl joined us to laugh. I had to correct what he had said, I told her they were rules one sets out for a new year and with the strong intentions of being followed. I had to ask Gabriel how he came up with the response only for him to confess he stole the line from a social media. He still added that he’s never kept any resolutions he made during the past years and for that reason he stopped making them and started flowing with the tide. We still laughed again. But then that’s how many people answer to that question. This year I have made no resolutions yet, not because I couldn’t keep them, well that’s partly one of the reason but then I found it too early for some rules.

So do you make New year resolutions just for the first week of January or just because others are making theirs? And if you don’t, what’s your reason?

Feel free to drop your comments, thanks

DJ’ TIMMY’s OPEN LETTER TO THE HEADIES

Dear headies 2013 organizers,
Let me start by saying i am not just disappointed in you but u have just proved to us that Nigeria is not getting better any time soon. you have been manipulated by a greedy and hopeless telecommunications company (mtn) because they sponsored your event and you forgot the ultimate rule that awards are meant to be impartial and should be decided by the general public especially when u told us to vote. you distributed the awards among 4 mtn ambassadors (iyanya, davido, praiz, and kcee) and just 1 glo ambassador won (waje). Is that not politics or is it coincidence? Now let us analyze.

The headies 2013 was a flop, your stage was shaped like a models runway, the choreographers just lacked ideas and didn’t interpret the music, i have seen a better performance from Nigeria’s got talent. What was the gulder ultimate search theme song that was being played throughout the event? Who on earth uses the mavin slaves -dr shit and tiwa gabbage as presenters of an event? Oh I forgot, the awards lacked credibility and substance. Why did majority of the winners come from backstage, instead of coming from the crowd like it should be? I watched nickelodeon kids choice awards this year and it is far better than the over hyped headies which was not properly planned and hurriedly done #shame

Can you explain to us how olamide won best rap album? olamide has commercialized rap, we cannot tell if he is a rapper or a singer. As far as i am concerned, he is just an entertainer like dbanj. so where does vector, phyno, reminisce, ice prince and illbliss who represent real hip hop/rap stand? Don’t forget that there is a big difference between commercial rap and real rap. all he sings about is remind us that he is from the street but to be sincere terry g is more street than olamide and terry is not even a rapper #justsaying
How can harry song win most mtn most downloaded caller tune song for rip Mandela? when did Mandela die and do u want to compare that dead song with other club bangers in the same category? Simple, it is because harrysong is a label mate to your mtn ambassador (kcee). In my opinion jawon, waje,2 face, Clarence peters , blackmagic and davido deserved there awards. how can wizkid not win any  award? Someone who has been the most consistent and sought after this year. i am sure wizkid declined an interview from you that’s why he didn’t win. in fact wizzy should be the artiste of the year. Why did dbanj, burnaboy, wandecoal, psquare, flavour not win anything? oh i know why, it is because they are Glo ambassadors.
Now explain to me why Sean tizzle won the next rated award and he was in the same category as burna boy who is obviously more relevant and talented. We all know Sean tizzle has the same old boring style and we can always predict his next song. Phyno too deserved the next rated award and how on planet earth did d-tunes win producer of the year? Someone who recycled 1 beat 5 times (kukere, your waist, mama eh,lenu by spicy, kilogbe). so where does ace producer del b that produced the national anthem limpopo stand? You are all insane!!!!!!

Infact, headies, mtn and Pdp should merge and start a new political party for the upcoming election in 2015. it should be named mhdp( mtn headies democratic party). we all know exactly what happened, mtn agreed to sponsor your event and they gave you the list of who should win. our votes did not count; do you think we are blind and foolish like yourself? Instead of your greedy mtn sponsors to improve their network, reduce tariffs and contribute to the growth of the nation, they will be sending me sms on how they gave free ipad and mp3 to those who sent a sms to a code. They spend all their time looking for how to extort customers and scam us with their ridiculous offers (free airplane and a trip to the moon)
i am sorry to say sir but if u continues this way your company will fold up and collapse because you are not an epitome of integrity. i am speaking on behalf of majority of Nigerians who know the truth and are not afraid to say it. those who feel this letter is nonsense should not forget to curse, insult and threaten me on @baddestdjtimmy. after my last 2 open letters, i have been insulted, chewed up, spit out, as being very jobless, hopeless and a broke laptop dj. you guys don’t know how much i love the insults so it means i am doing a good job and it makes me stronger. So in conclusion, if u have the opportunity to host another award show, learn from your mistakes and let our votes count this time. Let those who deserve it win, is that too much to ask?

OMG!!! WOMAN SLICES HUSBAND PENIS

The popular saying that hell has no fury than a woman scorned came to pass on Monday at the Surulere residence of a banker, Bimbo Ajetumobi Daniju and her gospel singer husband Olalekan Idowu Daniju when the woman allegedly took a knife and sliced her husband’s joystick during a fight.

Bimbo, staff of a new generation bank in Lagos was said to have accused her husband of not taking care of her and their only child, Opeoluwa. The husband disagreed and while fighting, Bimbo allegedly seized her husband’s joystick and sliced it with a knife. Bimbo denied using a knife but her fingernails to teach her husband a lesson on how not to treat a woman. The ugly incident happened on Monday at their Falolu Street, Surulere home.

The matter was reported to the police at Surulere station and the woman was arrested. In her statement to the police, Bimbo denied using a knife on her husband’s joystick but her fingernails.
She was later released on bail when her husband insisted that he was not interested in pressing charges against her.

Trouble started on 16 December when the banker who is a staff of the Agege Motor Road branch of the bank, accused her husband who has just returned from the church, of failing to provide for the needs of the family and leaving her to do everything. She also accused him of being selfish and uncaring.

She reportedly shouted at Olalekan who was eating and when he didn’t answer, poured his plate of food on his head. She took a bucket found in the room and smashed it on his head. This resulted in fighting.

Their neighbours separated them and Olalekan went to his sister’s shop to seek refuge but not done yet Bimbo allegedly followed him there and threatened to stab him with a broken bottle.
Relatives and neighbours, it was gathered, intervened and pleaded with the couple to give peace a chance but the couple continued to live like a cat and mouse.

Madam Kehinde Daniju, sister of Olalekan told P.M.NEWS that when her brother ran to her for help, she had to call their mother and other relatives to settle the matter for them in the family house they lived.

She explained that Bimbo’s mother who also lived around the area came and told her daughter not to accept reconciliation until Olalekan got a job. She blamed the couple’s constant disagreement on Olalekan’s refusal to get a job.

When she was leaving she took along the couple’s only son, Opeoluwa Daniju.

This did not go down well with Olalekan who ordered his wife to go to her mother’s house and bring his son before 8 p.m. or there would be trouble.

It was said that Bimbo left the house before 8 p.m and returned 30 minutes later without Opeoluwa.
This resulted in another round of fighting during which neighbours and relatives intervened again to separate them.

Narrating his story, Olalekan said he woke her up on Sunday to ask what she would be wearing to the church so that he could iron it but she didn’t reply.
“ I picked up my son’s cloth, ironed it, bathed him, had my bath and left both of them at home and went to church. In between the service, I came home to check on them and I met her cooking, I even joked that thank God there’s something for them to eat.

“I went back to church and after the service I was I hungry I bought bread and beans to eat and as I got inside, my boy told me he also wanted to eat bread and I gave it to him.

When she learnt that I gave the boy bread, she said I didn’t bother to ask her where she got money to prepare the rice that she ate and she started calling me several unprintable names.
“I responded again and this time it was a huge mistake. She just came near me, carried the plate of beans and pour the food on my head. She held my tie shouting and cursing me at the same time. I managed to extricate myself from her grip and ran out. She nearly suffocated me with the tie. She pursued me and broke a plastic bucket on my head but I continued to run. She picked up a bottle, broke it and threatened to stab me with it. This is a woman that is about five month pregnant.
“I ran to my sister’s shop and tried to involve her but she stayed out of the matter because they all know that she is rude, stubborn and violent. There was a day she and her brothers came here with thugs from Ojuelegba they wanted to beat up everybody here. She has chased me on the street with all sort of dangerous things. I don’t really know what she wants to achieve with all this but that day, her mum came, my mum’s sister came also and they tried to resolve the whole thing.

“I saw my mum’s sister off and before I came back, my mother-in-law had taken my son away and I was like we are trying to solve one issue and you are trying to cause another problem. I told her that if by 8p.m. that evening my child is not back home, she would not find it funny.

“I said that to make her know that I was serious but she said that there’s nothing I can do. She left the house before 8p.m. and came back 30 minutes later without my son. She took her bath and went to sleep I went to my sister and told her I am going to my mother-in-law’s house to get my child but my family ask me not to go there. At that time, I was tired, confused and hungry. I picked up my laptop but while I was trying to watch a movie I fell asleep in the sitting room.

“She woke me up at about 2a.m.. I was in a pair of boxer shorts. She told me that it is either I kill her or she kills me and within seconds she had torn my shorts. This was not surprising anyway as she had torn many of my clothes in the past. She said ‘I am going to kill you this morning. You think I am joking’. The whole thing happened so fast I just felt her hand in holding my joystick, and the next thing was blood flowing. I started shouting and crying for her to take me to the hospital.

“She said ‘hospital ke, that’s where you are going to die today’ and that was the last time I saw her. I don’t know how she left the house at that time of the night. She changed her clothes, took a big bag and left, only for us to see her two days later at the police station.
There and then, I decided I cannot continue living with her, she could just decide to put poison in my food and kill me one day.

“It’s only a person that’s alive that can explain anything. She could just poison me and cook up a story just like she did at the police station where she told the police officers that I woke her up at 2a.m. and started hitting her, almost beating her to death and the officers clapped for her for a lovely story. The officers asked how come I did all that and she had the strength to run away and she didn’t run to the hospital, that is, someone that was almost being beaten to death should go to the hospital and there was no doctor’s report. The person you injured brought his own medical report, we could see that the injury was bandaged.

“The officers told her that there’s no mark on her to signify being beaten, she replied that she didn’t go to any hospital because there was no mark on her she also claimed that she didn’t use any knife but that she used her fingernails to scratch my joystick,” he said.

Efforts to speak with Bimbo at her mother’s home proved abortive as our reporter was prevented from talking to her.

VERY INTERESTING: I FASTED AND PRAYED FOR 10 MONTHS- Gov Amaechi

Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Rotimi Amaechi has attributed the increasing level of insecurity in Nigeria to the Federal Government.

The Governor also said that God, not man, installed him as the state governor because he fasted and prayed for 10 months before he became the governor.

“As a government led by me, a government installed by Christ, if anybody tells you he installed me, tell him it is a lie. Tell him that I said I prayed for 10 months and I fasted from 6am to 6pm, calling on Christ to come down and Christ came down mightily and installed me as governor.

“That is why you can see that in the face of human effontery, I have been able to stand face to face with them and I say I have Christ in me.”

Amaechi, who spoke at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Port Harcourt on Christmas Day, said the insecurity in the state is growing because the police had failed to do their job in an unbiased manner.

He urged Nigerians to disregard anyone who claimed to be responsible for his emergence as governor:
“You must rise in that same spirit of having Christ in you and confront those who are confronting you. You must stand up for Christ because the Bible says ‘faith without work is dead.’

“We must not die. We must live and the way to live is to celebrate Christ and the way to celebrate Christ is to confront Satan and Satan is in different forms and shapes. If the police shoot at you, they are satanic. If government denies you your right to live, that government is satanic.”

Amaechi called on the people to be steadfast.

OH NO!!! “MY Father Sold My Baby” Daughter Cries Out

Rev. Michael Oguguo, 52, who sold the baby of his daughter, Chiamaka Oguguo, for the sum of N200,000 with the connivance of a clinic in Umuechem, Etche, Rivers State where the baby was born has been arrested.

Rev. Oguguo, a native of Ejemekwuru in Oguta is the minister of 11th Deliverance Ministry, Nkwesi, Oguta, Imo State while the clinic is operated by Cyprian Phat, a homeopathic medicine practitioner.

As Sunday Sun learnt from the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Katsina, the sordid story started when Chiamaka was impregnated by her boyfriend, whose name was given as Chinedu Ukachukwu.

Recalling the painful experience, 18-year-old Chiamaka told Sunday Sun: “I was impregnated by my boyfriend Chinedu Ukachukwu who lied to me that he was not married. Later I learnt that he is married with four children. When my father, Rev Oguguo heard that I was pregnant, instead of accepting me with my condition, he threw me out of the house and I slept in an uncompleted building for days. My father encouraged me to abort the pregnancy, but I didn’t listen to him.”

As Chiamaka got close to the delivery date, a pastor colleague of her father lured her to New Life Clinic in Umuechem, Etche, Rivers State, operated by Cyprian Phat, who, the Police Commissioner said, masqueraded as a medical doctor. He further revealed that Phat held Chiamaka captive for about one month until she gave birth to a baby girl.

The twist in the tale occurred when Chiamaka’s father who had initially abandoned her suddenly re-surfaced after hearing of her safe delivery of the baby.

Continuing the tale, Chiamaka said: “When I saw him, I thought he came to rejoice with me. I did not know he came with a devilish intent. Like magic, my baby girl disappeared from my bed. I thought she was taken for treatment. I didn’t know that my father had connived with the doctor and sold my baby to one Chinwe Okuzu, 25, a Business Studies student of Abia State Polytechnic for the sum of N200,000.”

Recounting his role in the baby sale caper, Phat who hails from Mgbele in Oguta LGA, Imo State, told Sunday Sun: “I claimed to be a homeopathic practitioner. I was deported from Austria in 1988 after I was unable to undergo training as a mechanic. I returned home in 1993 and started practicing homeopathic medicine. Chiamaka Oguguo came to my clinic to deliver a baby girl. Later her father, Rev Oguguo came to my clinic and said we should sell the baby girl. We arranged with a lady, Chinwe Okuzu who bought the baby at N200,000 at  the clinic at Umuechem Etche, Rivers State. Later the police came to arrest  me and I have confessed to them.”

The next link in the chain of infamy, Okuzu, a native of Umuchi in Ihitte Uboma LGA Imo State, confirmed buying the baby but added that she did so on behalf of one Mrs Rose Nwadinaobi, who runs a baby factory, from whom she collected a share of the proceeds from the sale.

Her words: “I am an agent to Mrs Rose Nwadinaobi who took the child from me and I have not been able to locate her since I was arrested me.”

The bubble burst for the conspirators when Chiamaka screamed blue murder, raising dust over the disappearance of the newborn baby girl. As it stands now her only wish and utmost desire is to be re-united with her baby, as she wails unceasingly: “My cry is that I need my baby girl. They should return my baby girl to me. I have disowned my father who claims to be a reverend in the church. He is not a man of God. He is just deceiving the congregation. If he can do this to me his own daughter what would he do to others? He does not have the fear of God. I am ready to carry my cross and care for my baby.  Today’s men of God are so deceitful.”

Meanwhile, there is a glimmer of hope that the baby girl may be found as the Imo State Police Commissioner disclosed that Rose Nwadinobi, who bought the newborn is already in the police custody. He further said that the suspects would soon appear in court.

SAD!!! Mother Of Four Kills Husband Over N100

Yesterday turned sour for residents of Oloje area in Ilorin, as disaster befell on them, when a housewife simply identified as Miriam killed her husband after arguments between them over N100. It was learnt that the woman a mother of 4 unfortunately all late, returned to their matrimonial home after she parted ways with her husband.
